The nine dimensions, and how each is scored
Two dimensions are decided by rules against your markup. Six are scored by a language model reading the rendered page. Freshness is derived from dated evidence found in the content.

How the score is calculated
Every dimension is scored 0β100 on the same scale. The overall score is the unweighted mean of the dimensions that could be scored for your page.

Two consequences worth knowing. Nothing is weighted, so one badly failing dimension cannot be offset by polishing the others β the top priority the report names is simply the lowest scorer. And when a dimension cannot be evaluated it is dropped from the mean rather than counted as zero, so a short page can score well on the dimensions that do apply.
